Sensurround

Big sound rippin’ into my ears
The blast was all they said it would be
My eyes shut but I opened them
Bright stars were all I needed to see
Then the spaceship made its way around
In its orbit just like that
I could see the galaxy sensurround
Who on earth knew where I was at
The years traveled along with me
As time became a negative zone
The speed it was infinity
I found that I was now all alone
Caught up in a warping hole of time
No one knew that it was there
But I kept on holding onto my mind
In a spot I didn’t know where
In space...behind the blue zone
A place...to find a new home
No one on the radio listening
What I say will never be heard
All this starlight shining and glistening
It’s no use to utter a word
You know...that it was not an easy thing...you know
To go...with no one else that I could bring...to go
Then a comet, it went flying like a rocket blazing away
Mighty missile shooting after unknown target going astray
You know...that it was not an easy thing...you know
To go...with no one else that I could bring...to go
I saw bright new quasars, I saw supernovas
Rays from the gray stars would snake like a boa
Birth of a system, would shine from a distance
In all its wisdom, declare its existence
And all the time, all of this happening like it’s performing for me
You wouldn’t know anything only if somehow you managed to see
Storms made of lightning appeared out of nowhere
Though it was fright’ning, I still had to go there
A spectacle nothing like anything anyone had ever seen
You couldn’t imagine the vision not even those had in a dream
Lights shine so brightly in red, white, and violet
Brilliant and sightly, but always so quiet
But soon enough even though all of this made an impact on my mind
I wanted to be at home living and loving with all my own kind
If I could glance to a map I would make it
When there’s a chance to go home I will take it
